Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac hosts fingerprinting event on September 20

With so many children involved in the program, we thought we would pass on this information about a great event being hosted by Tracy Chevrolet.

A missing child is a parent’s worst nightmare. Yet it happens all the time. As parents, you can take all the precautions possible, but in the event it should happen to your child, you need to be able to provide the authorities with as much information as possible. That’s something most parents aren’t prepared and why Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac is hosting fingerprinting event on Saturday, September 20, from 11am to 2pm.

Representatives from Executive Protection International will conduct this free event in Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac’s showroom at 137 Samoset Street in Plymouth. Children’s fingerprints will be taken using a non-toxic fingerprint strip. Parents will receive those extra large prints on a high quality stock paper, which includes space to attach an updated photo, an area for contact info and medical information and a special section for notes.

“If you’re a parent, you can’t hear an AMBER alert on the news or see a picture on the side of milk carton without a chill going down your spine. That’s why having all your child’s pertinent information, including their fingerprints, is critical should your child ever turn up missing,” said Jeff Tracy, president of Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac.

The fingerprint kit also comes with:

● Comprehensive dental chart to record baby and permanent teeth.

● An emergency phone directory to record important phone numbers.

● Re-sealable poly bag to store additional photos and important documents.

● Valuable child safety tips.

● Easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions in English and Spanish

The event will begin promptly at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 20. While there is no charge to have your child fingerprinted, a limited number of fingerprint kits are available. Your child must be present to receive a kit, first come first served.

“As a Plymouth business, we care about the people and families of Plymouth,” said Tracy. “An event like this may not prevent any child from ever turning up missing, but if it raises awareness and gives parents a sense of security, then it’s well worth it.”

The Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac dealership is located at 137 Samoset Street (Route 44) in Plymouth. Take exit 6 off Route 3 and follow Route 44 west toward Carver. For more information on Executive Protection International, go to http://www.protectmeepi.com.
